16-ounce pre-patina copper panels were used to complement the other buildings on the more than century-old university campus. The building's sunken entrance is covered with a copper clad canopy with long straight lines that draw attention to thin vertical panels above the windows on the north side. The panels were fabricated with a short standing seam, which creates a unique shadowing effect.
