Part of the Knowledge Infrastructure Program sponsored by the Federal and Provincial governments, St. Clair College is building a new Health Sciences Building. The new building, to be named the Centre for Applied Health Science will create more space to accommodate programs the college presently offers and to make room for more. Among present programs the building will house the Windsor Ontario Colleges: Nursing, Paramedic, Laboratory Sciences, Dental Hygiene and Pharmacy programs. New programs will include: Forensic Science, Cardiovascular Technology and Ultrasound Technology.
Designed by Architect Dan Amicone at Architecttura Inc. of Windsor, Ontario the buildings innovative faade welcomes natural light to the interior through the use of aluminum light shelves distanced three feet from exterior panels and glazing. Their purpose is to take advantage of natural sun light by reflecting it into the building to reduce the need for artificial lighting.
Ontario Panelizations scope of work includes the supply and installation of over 14,000 square feet of Alcotex Aluminum Composite Material (ACM). The Four colours selected by Architecttura Inc. are Silver, Anodic Satin, Shimmering Teal, and Summer Suede Metallic.
Ontario Panelization would like to congratulate and thank St. Clair College, Architecttura Inc. and General Contractors Oscar Construction.
